About Me

I'm Jamie Lambert, a passionate speech-language pathologist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages communicate effectively and confidently. I earned my bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University, followed by a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations, from infants to seniors, in various settings including outpatient pediatric centers, home health, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and hospitals. My experiences have equipped me with the expertise to address a wide range of speech and language needs.

In my free time, you can often find me immersed in nature, indulging in my love for hiking, camping, kayaking, and all things outdoors — especially during the summertime.

Driven by a deep commitment to serving my community, I founded my private practice to ensure that families in our area have access to top-notch speech and language services for their children. As I continue to grow, my goal is to extend support to adults as well, empowering individuals of all ages to thrive in their communication skills.

Always Comprehensive,
Always Unique

In my practice, I specialize in comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each individual. With a wealth of experience across diverse age groups and communication challenges, I have honed my skills to effectively address a wide range of speech disorders.

For children, I am adept at treating articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and apraxia, employing evidence-based techniques and creative strategies to foster clear and confident communication. Additionally, my expertise extends to supporting adults facing communication hurdles, including aphasia, dysarthria, fluency disorders, and cognitive impairments.

Whether it's guiding a child through the intricacies of speech sound production or empowering an adult to regain language skills after stroke or injury, I am committed to facilitating meaningful progress and empowering individuals to communicate with confidence and clarity.

"Jamie is the best! My son has been going to her for a year and a half. She's great with kids and makes the work fun. She's professional, yet warm and kind. My son looks forward to talking with her every week and got tears in his eyes when he found out he's almost done with speech — that says it all."

“Jamie works with our son who is Autistic and nonverbal. Her sessions are designed to engage him while also completing tasks. He can be challenging with self-injurious behaviors centered around non-preferred tasks. Jamie is able to work him to his limit without going over it. Her engagement with him through praise and excitement are what make him want to do difficult tasks for her. She is an amazing therapist and you won't be disappointed in her techniques.”
